Research Interests

As a geophysicist I have worked with a wide variety of geophysical techniques to map the subsurface. At KAUST I will be looking at seismic data from both ocean bottom and land stations placed in an around the Red Sea. A new method based on seismic interferometry will be used to remove any potential clock error from the ocean bottom seismic data. With the data we hope to advance our understanding of the processes causing earthquakes in the western part of the Arabian Peninsula.
