Biography

I am an observational seismologist who uses earthquake data to study the earth's structure, seismotectonics, and source mechanisms of significant earthquakes and seismic swarms. I have experience working on datasets across different scales: geothermal reservoirs, volcanoes, subduction zones, continental intraplate settings, and global datasets. During my Ph.D. study, I investigated links between the earth's structure and seismicity in Northern Norway. I also looked into the relation between the region's seismicity and hydrological processes.

 During my postdoc, I am working on ocean-bottom seismometer data to understand rifting, transform faults, and seismicity in the Red Sea. I also plan to investigate active faults in Saudi Arabia using broadband seismology.
