Research Interests

Development of the finite-element method for 3D spontaneous rupture propagation, development of the hybrid FD-FE method for efficient joint simulation of dynamic rupture propagation (using the FE method) with seismic wave propagation into large distances in complex 3D heterogeneous media (using the FD method), initialization of spontaneous rupture propagation in the numerical simulations, application of FD method to the moment tensor inversion in the 3D heterogeneous media.
