Research Interests

My research interests is focused on strong ground motion. It is a combination of source dynamics, path attenuation and local site conditions. I use such information in appropriate stochastic model to predict the ground motion for future large earthquake. I go through analysis and understanding of past ground motion data, it can better predict the level and variation of future ground motion. It play an important role in seismic hazard assessment.
