Fully funded PhD opportunity in Seismology at KAUST

The project will start with the deployment of OBS and land seismometers. The student will investigate the seismicity and earth structure to better understand the active tectonics along with the seismic and volcanic hazards in the Red Sea and western Saudi Arabia, with particular focus on the transform fault systems. The official start date is August 2020 but potential candidates are welcome to join our group as soon as possible for an internship until the start of the PhD program. ​
